I keep coming back because this place has everything I need, like free parking, luggage storage, outdoor dining area, and a saltwater pool. The staff even helped with my bags when I arrived. Perfect for my city break!

I had a great stay at a spacious and well-decorated unit with lots of room for my group of adults. The bedrooms were large and the bathrooms were nice with fluffy towels and good quality toiletries. The kitchen had everything we needed and the pool area was lovely. The manager provided helpful suggestions and directions for our trip. I would recommend this hotel despite a few minor drawbacks with the beds and walking distance to town.

easy to reach, car park available, suite very large with 2 bedrooms 140sqm with all facilities. It was was more an apartment than a hotel room.
we were surprised because there was no restaurant and no garden just a small swimming pool without heating system. only one blanket was available for 2 bedrooms. Hotel is a little bit noisy due to a poor sound isolating.

The tranquility and quiet so one could block out the world and rejuvenate. It was just so relaxing, but a hub to anything you wanted, beach, fishing, wildlife parks, great dining, river cruises etc.

Reasonably modern, Good location, nice layout which allows plenty of room including balcony and two bathrooms for three bedroom apartment. Pool, BBQ and entertainment area were awesome
Getting luggage to second level without lifts, air conditioner was faulty and worst of all no bottle opener

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxury hotel and it was a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home with their warm and friendly service. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to explore all that this beautiful destination has to offer. The airport shuttle service was a great convenience, ensuring a hassle-free journey to and from the hotel. The room amenities were top-notch, with comfortable beds, air conditioning, and a spacious sitting area. We also appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, which allowed us to prepare our own meals when we wanted to dine in. The outdoor swimming pool was a fantastic spot to relax and soak up the sun, and the jacuzzi provided the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. this hotel provided us with enhanced comfort and quality services, making our stay truly enjoyable.

our second stay in port douglas exceeded expectations with the mediterranean. spacious rooms, friendly service, well-equipped kitchen, and a relaxing pool made for a perfect trip. not to mention the welcoming and flexible staff, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. highly recommend this hidden gem.
Balcony view obscured by trees.

The view of the parking lot and only the parking lot from our room was great. We loved the petty selfishness of your staff asking us to be uncomfortable rather than using the air conditioning. We were so very pleased that the hotel provided no maid service at all, no fresh towel, no bed service. What a great hotel. We liked it so much that we moved to another hotel in Port Douglas rather than stay at the Mediterranean.
The petty nasty customer-hostile pricing. Sixty dollars for leaving a dish unwashed, eighty dollars an hour for each hour of late check out, five dollars for a towel at the pool, a full day's rent for reservation change, and doubtless other equally petty and inane. The fact of your management leasing the hotel from its owners and making its money by these nasty customer-adverse charges mitigates nothing. It may be why you are running a crappy hotel, but it does not in the least change the fact that you ARE running a crappy hotel. What you are running is quite close to being what is called in our country a "fine print fraud" In California you would lose your hotel license for that..

Good quality accommodation, very clean and friendly. The unit was a good family size with pleasant decor, good kitchen area with modern appliances and a good sized balcony with dining table. Has a very nice pool area complete with a spa.
The air-con was not the best, lucky it wasn't too hot during our stay. The exterior did have damage that needed repair (roof area) and did make a bit of noise in a gusty wind. These are minor gripes though and it is a nice place to stay.

I stayed at the Mediterranean in Port Douglas and had a fantastic experience. Upon arrival, our host Craig warmly welcomed us and provided us with valuable advice on the best tours and attractions in the area. The pool and outdoor area were well-maintained and offered a relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed spending hours swimming and unwinding by the pool. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and fully equipped with a kitchen and a washing machine. The air conditioning and fans in each room ensured our comfort. The private balcony was a delightful addition, perfect for enjoying the warm weather with my family. our stay at Mediterranean was perfect thanks to the excellent facilities and helpful service provided by Craig.
Nothing 🙌

Spent Xmas week in a spacious and clean apartment with great kitchen amenities. The location was convenient and close to the beach. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The pool area was well-maintained and there were always available pool chairs. The balcony offered a nice view to relax in the evening.
The apartment we stayed in was facing a busy road causing constant traffic noise. The cleaning fee was also quite steep. the property could use some updates and improvements, especially in the communal areas.

A very attractive place that is very well run - Craig was most obliging whenever we needed info. We enjoyed the quiet location.
Not a big deal but it would have been good to have salt and pepper supplied (or available if requested) and perhaps some paper towels and a cloth in the laundry for wiping. Not necessary for stays of a few days perhaps but as we were there for 12 and were only serviced once, it would have been useful.
